How To Get Software Testing Job or any Software Job for that matter

This is not another interview questions website. This is not a cheat site to give you shortcuts to win in life. For that matter I dont write for fun I write with a lot of seriousness & put lot of time before i write down. So my sincere & harsh answer to any one who is trying for a "Software Job"

- Do NOT ever try shortcuts
- Do NOT be a lazy person any more
- Do NOT think that once you get a Job offer everything settles down like a breeze
- Do NOT think that if you prepare 100 interview questions with answers you can win a job offer letter
- Do not be under the impression that you need to study only to cover few topics which are in the "Frequently asked Interview Questions " List

If you follow above approaches then I dont see much Career growth for you. Instead what you should develop in yourself is

- Disciplined Life
- Attitude of working hard , learning with sincerity
- Ability to put long hours of thoeritical study with large practical sessions
- Be serious about how you prepare for each & every interview
- Learn to take tough path & know how you can win

Disciplined Life : Know that the Software industry demands lot of skills & wide knowledge so start learning things early & learn them fast. Gain master in topics like :
Operating System : Linux (RHEL5) & Solaris 10
Networking (Switching Routing Network Topologies Network Protocols How to manage a network of nearly 300 nodes)
Hardware knowledge : about Servers , Storage , Processors , architectures of distributed networking
Software Skillset : Programming knowldge, Scripting knowledge, Automating frameworks , Development process , Application Server , Enterprise project development essentials like change management , configuration management , versioning system

Atleast start learning few things about each of the above mentioned topics & you will succeed if you keep your learning in a consistent pace. I will write some of the basic tutorials on the topics mentioned above in the coming days. Keep reading this blog. Dont just read & forget these instructions try to put them in practice. There is no replacement for hardware & number of hours you put in front of a system practising each of the above in a lab or at your own workstation PC.
